On Sunday, November 13, members of Northeast Chapter participated in the 6th annual Helping Hands of Freemasonry in the Center City section of Philadelphia. This event was sponsored by Friendship-Williams Lodge #400. The day was dedicated to helping the homeless by providing clothing and serving food to those in desperate need. Members of the Masons, DeMolay, Boy Scouts, Rainbow and other community based groups gathered to help make a difference.
Clothing that was donated and distributed included hats, scarves, gloves, socks, coats, sleeping bags and various other pieces in order to keep the less fortunate warm and fully clothed. Along with receiving a hot meal, donated products included water, crackers fruit, granola bars, and coffee.
