In PA DeMolay, one of the major supporters that we rely on is our Masonic Bodies. At the stated meeting of Friendship-Bray Chapter, the Masonic Family rallied like no one has ever seen before. What started as a goal to allow the current members to walk away with a Masonic Attendance Merit Bar, ended with nearly 150 Masons in attendance. This meeting also marked the Chapter’s return to it’s original home of Jenkintown.
“Dad” Michael McKee, advisor for Friendship-Bray Chapter and member of Jerusalem Lodge #506, sent notices to all of the Masonic Districts in the Philadelphia region to gain support for DeMolay Month. During the process, District Deputy Grand Master for Masonic District C, helped secure the nearly 150 Masons in attendance. A proclamation was given to the chapter celebrating DeMolay Month. Brand new candles were donated to the chapter, made by “Dad” David Tansey, Past District Deputy Grand Master of Masonic District D.
Good things are happening for FBC DeMolay! Keep up the great work guys!
