Halloween at the Region II Conference

DSC_0051On Halloween weekend from October 30th to November 1st, Pennsylvania DeMolay hosted the DeMolay International Region II Conference. The Conference was held at the Masonic Conference Center – Patton Campus in Elizabethtown. Executive Officers, staff members and jurisdictional officers from the Mid-Atlantic Region (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and D.C.) gathered for workshops that will help make our jurisdictions stronger. The program for the weekend, orchestrated by Region II Director Tom Taylor of Delaware included; membership and advisor recruitment, improving the public image, and upcoming planning for DeMolay International’s 100th anniversary.DSC_0052

Several DeMolay International Representatives participated in the weekend. Executive Director for DeMolay International, Michael Russell came to talk about advisor recruitment and the brand new escribe online database. DeMolay International Congress Secretary Quentin Cockerham held a program with all the Jurisdictional Officers while advisors participated in leadership workshops. “Dad” William Sardone came prepared for Halloween dressed as Zorro. Members from DeMolay Canada participated as well, and brought the Joker with them.

DSC_0096“Dad” Seth Anthony conducted an activity that had members and advisors build a bridge. This activity taught leadership and teamwork. The weekend was full of excitement, especially in the Multimedia Center where the World Series games were played on the big screen.
