When Freedom Chapter's Master Councilor, Henry Pak, asked for help to coordinate a delivery for his food drive in Chester County, Bro. Tucker Daland stood up for the task. The members and their families collected food and brought it to the meetings. Tucker weighed, tallied, and loaded the food collected from the meetings, spanning November 2009 to January 2010. Tucker was able to coordinate the drop-off on January 18, 2010, to coincide with the local food drive effort at the Kennett Area Community Service in Kennett Square, PA. The members of Freedom Chapter collected and donated 137 food items totaling 128.6 pounds. This will go a long way to helping the hardest hit citizens of our local community who are in need of food during this stressful economic recession.
